Pixii is Norway's fastest growing tech company
according to Deloitte (2023). It is head quartered in Norway with offices in Germany, Australia and other locations across the world as it continues it growth. Given the nature of it’s business as well as locations of operations, Pixii is required and committed to complying with a number of privacy and data protection laws and/or regulations.
The purpose of this assignment was to help Pixii consolidate their existing efforts in relation to data protection and cyber security for communication to different stakeholders. As well as to propose complete Data Protection and Cyber Security frameworks.
⸺ The frameworks
Developed Pixii’s frameworks for Data Protection and Cyber Security. The frameworks provided a hierarchy of policy, operational documents and resources that together fulfil Pixii’s commitments and obligations in relation to privacy and cyber security. The frameworks were designed to bring together existing and new data protection measures at appropriate levels under one umbrella.
⸺ Rollout plan
Made recommendations for a phased approach to completing and rolling out the frameworks. Developed a rollout timeline including a training and capacity building plan.
⸺ Policy(ies)
Provided outlines and suggested text for the Data Protection Policy, as well as specific policies related to management of personal data internally.
⸺ Management Info Sessions
Conducted management information sessions and briefings to senior management at key decision making points.
⸺ Operational guidance
Provided recommendations and content outlines for governance documents and processes needed to operationalise the policies.
⸺ Workshops
Developed and conducted workshops with relevant team members for training and receiving input for the operational documents.
